About The Company

ELIZABETH MEHLIN

In 2007 Elizabeth Mehlin established Mehlin Conservation in Essex, Massachusetts.  Elizabeth has seventeen years experience in conservation of oil paintings for government agencies, private institutions and individual clients in the US and Canada. She has a BA in Art History from Williams College (’91) and a MAC (Master of Art Conservation) with a specialization in paintings from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada (’02).

OTHER PROJECTS

Elizabeth Mehlin participated in conservation of the Constantino Brumidi Corridors in the Senate wing of the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington DC as part of the Cunningham-Adams Conservation team between 2012-2014.  She also participated in emergency salvage and conservation of paintings in Port au Prince, Haiti as part of the Smithsonian-Haiti Cultural Recovery project in 2010 and 2011.
